Hello everyone!!!

Quote of the Week
"Far better is it to dare to do mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checked by failure...than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy mush nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat." -Theodore Roosevelt.

This totally describes us as disciples of Jesus Christ because by taking His name upon us and making covenants with Him, we are daring to do mighty things and choosing not to live an easy, comfortable life with no growth or progress. We must stand up and be willing to do the hard things and stay strong no matter what gets thrown at us because we are showing our love and dedication and there is no failure in the eyes of the Lord. What counts is your willingness and work that you put into doing His work.

Updates for the Week
Heather- She got baptized on Saturday and confirmed yesterday!! She completely quit smoking and is now         washed clean and ready to start on the path back to our Heavenly Father. It was so touching and sweet to be a part of it!

Brandi-Came to 3 baptisms with us in 2 days and even sang in two musical numbers with us. We were talking to her on Saturday and she said that one of the baptisms just hit her, she knows she needs to be baptized. She is set to be baptized this Saturday at 4:00 p.m. !!!! Just in time for new member baptisms at the temple next Saturday which we get to go to with her!! Sister Malloy and I both started crying when she decided on this Saturday because it is so exciting!! She is ready and knows without a doubt that this is the true church and where she needs to be!! She is solid and ready and once she joins, she is going nowhere!! She is here to stay! And she is the pioneer in her family. Her decision is going to bless her family, posterity and many generations to come. It is truly incredible to be a part of it and to be able to be the instrument in the Lord's hands bearing this message and bringing the Spirit with us to help this people find their way back home!! :)

Mike-He is doing well. He has a lot of questions and concerns that need to be addressed and answered so he is going to take some time and patience but he is reading the Book of Mormon and praying so he is going in the right direction!

Things are going great and we are learning to just work hard and show our diligence and faith, that is when the miracles come and things start to happen!! :)

I hope all is well back home! I love you all and pray for you frequently!! :)

Love always, Sister Britni Johnson :)

 Beautiful day for swinging

Heather's baptism! :)
