Hello everyone!!

Quote of the Week
"Peace isn't the absence of trouble, it's the presence of Christ."

I love this because it is so true! Without troubles and trials we wouldn't learn anything and there would be no point to life. It is important to find joy in the journey and in the trial. I am learning to be grateful for my trials and not ask for them to be taken away but ask for Heavenly Father to strengthen my back so that I can carry them! :)

Quick Miracle
So we have been trying to meet more of the ward because Sister Jensen doesn't know a lot of people and I don't know anyone. So we randomly popped in on some active members and they invited us in. The husband has been a member for almost a year and he is so excited about missionary work. A few days earlier, he started talking to a woman at the store about church and she was super interested and excited. He got her name, phone number and address.

So when we dropped by, he started telling us about her and asked us to go by and visit her. We went by that night and she was super excited about us being there. She really wants to come to church but couldn't make it yesterday because she was sick. But we are meeting with her tonight and I am so excited to be teaching her. She really wants to put God back in her life and is super excited to come to church and stuff.

It was cool to see how involved Heavenly Father was is such a small moment of life that could have a great impact and we all just happened to be in the right place at the right time and listened to the promptings of the Spirit. It's little experiences like that that can be the biggest testimony builders of how God is in control of everything and all we have to do is trust Him and put it all in His hands!! :)

Other News
I am now in Fairborn OH!!! Funny thing is the border of Fairborn touches the border of Xenia. I am literally 5 minutes down the road from where I used to live and I am still in the same zone.  It is super weird being so close yet so far. I love it here so much though!! It feels so right to be here. I know that I am here for a specific reason and I am super excited to figure it out!!

My new companion is Sister Jensen and she is kind of amazing! She has been out for 3 months but I always forget and think she has been out longer than me because she is so good. We get along so well and I am having the most fun I have ever had on my mission.

I am not a Sister Training Leader anymore which is such a blessing. I love just being a regular old missionary and just going out and doing my best with my companion. I feel so light and happy and things are just fabulous!! There is a lot going on here and so many miracles happening right and left! There are a lot of people that are super close and we are going to help give them that extra push that they need.

Anyways, I love you all and I hope things are wonderful!! Talk to you next week!! :)

Love always, Sister Britni Johnson :)

Hello everyone!!

sorry I don't have a lot of time this week so this one will be short.

First off, we got a new companion the other day!! Her name is Sister Simmons and she is from Kaysville, UT and I love her! It is super fun to be in a trio again! It's really weird to be with a new missionary though.
Things are going really well! We have been working so hard and have been able to see incredible blessings from it!!

We have a lot of people we are teaching and it is such a blessing!!
This Saturday we have what is called a social media split. So basically we will have a few different members following us all day and taking pictures of everything we do. They will posting on Facebook, twitter, Instagram, etc. a few times each hour. We are super excited about this because next week The Book Of Mormon Musical comes to Columbus so we are doing this right before as a mission to blow up social media with what missionaries really do. It should be super cool and I am excited to see what happens!!

I just want to end with a short testimony that I know that this Church is true! I know that Heavenly Father knows and loves each and everyone of us and Jesus Christ understands everything we are going through even if we don't understand it ourselves. He has been through it all and therefore know exactly how to help us get through it!! I know that no matter what happens, everything will always work out as it should and Heavenly Father is in complete control of everything. It is our responsibility to trust Him completely and do our best to do what he asks of us!!

I love you all and hope to hear from you soon!! :)

Love always, Sister Britni Johnson :)

Hello Everyone!!

This last week was so good!!

First off, we got to go to the temple twice! First we went to do a session with our zone and it was amazing! And then on Saturday we got to go with Brandi and do baptisms for the dead with her! It was like the coolest thing ever! Brandi took some of her family names. She was baptized for her mom and then someone else was baptized for her uncle and it was so cute because when it happened she started crying because it really hit her what she was doing. Best experience ever!!

Not too many updates this week. We met with Mike and it went really well because we took a couple out teaching with us and they all clicked really well. We will see where that goes. He is still reading the Book of Mormon and starting to connect more of the dots of why this is important and how it applies to him.

On Friday
we had an awesome training by President and Sister Nilsen and the assistants. It was all about how much time is wasted everyday and it was a major reality check for everyone! We all realized how much more we could be doing. We have all set limits for ourselves that are untrue and unnecessary. It is time to raise our standards and expectations and lets the miracles roll forth. It was a serious call to repentance but long overdue and right on target.

This really laid it out in front of the whole mission and helped relight everyone's desires to work hard and keep pushing. It has already made a noticeable difference, even in our area. We have been tightening things up and it is so amazing to see the change that is happening and we let the Lord set our limits rather than us setting them ourselves. It was super good!!

I am trying to send pictures but it is being super difficult and really slow so I will try to send some next week!!

Love you all and have a wonderful week! :)
