Hello everyone!!!

I hope everything is going well!! Things are great here! :)

Quote of the Week
"Never assume that you can do it alone. You need the help of the Lord. Never hesitate to get on your knees in some private place and speak with Him."

I love this because it is so true! No matter what happens, we always need Heavenly Father's help and he wants to hear from us! I have learned so much lately about the power and importance of prayer and constant communication with our Heavenly Father!! :)

Updates
Cheyenne was confirmed yesterday! She was still super sick but she was so determined to get the Holy Ghost and be at church!

Brandi is doing well, she just needs to keep taking her time. She is on the right track and things will work out, she just wants to know for sure, that the church is true! We just keep praying and fasting for her and we know everything will continue to work out exactly as it should be!

Heather is doing great, she is getting married on Saturday and she is super excited! She really wants to be baptized and we are super excited for her!! :)

So we met a few other super awesome people! We are excited to see what happens. We have this new thing where we are just asking people if we can watch a video about Christ and get their feedback on it and it has been awesome because it gives us some common ground to start with and somewhere to go afterwards!

On Friday we did Zumba as an activity for investigators, members and friends! It was super successful and I always have so much fun doing it!

Lastly, next week is transfers again! I can't believe how fast it goes each time!! I am really hoping that we both stay but Sister Malloy thinks she is leaving which is super sad! :(
Also, a member made us Cafe Rio last night! It's the first time I have had it in since before my mission and it tasted soooo good!!

I love you all and I hope everything is going well!! :)
Love always, Sister Britni Johnson

Green food for St. Patrick's Day!!

Hello everyone!! Happy St. Patty's Day!!
We have a member making us a green dinner and I am super excited!! :)

Quotes for the Week
"All it takes is 20 seconds of insane courage"

This is how I am going to conquer my fears! I am sick of being afraid of things and I will conquer them!

"If it is to be, it is up to me!"

If there's anything I have learned on my mission, it is that if anything is going to happen, it is all on me!! I want to develop a make it happen attitude! I am excited to just make things happen, no matter what obstacle jump into my way! :)

Updates
Cheyenne's baptism went incredibly well and it was absolutely amazing!! The only problem, she didn't show up for church the next day to be confirmed. She was throwing up all night Saturday night and couldn't make it. So they will just confirm her in church next week! She is doing wonderfully though and I love her so much!! She has made a ton of progress and truly understands the things we are teaching her which in and of itself is kind of amazing! :)

Brandi-She is doing well but hesitant about baptism. We narrowed it down to the month of April but she still won't commit to a date yet. We are still praying and fasting for the 29th of March. Every time we think about and pray about it, the 29th feels so right and we know that if we completely turn it over to the Lord, it will all work out the way it is supposed to! I love her so much though and she already believes it and is basically a member. She comes to church every week, goes to institute every week, watches general conference and mormon channel in her free time, and loves reading the Book of Mormon!

Heather-is still doing well and on track to be baptized on April 12th, she just has to quit smoking which she is working on. I was finally able to hear her testimony the other day and how she received her answer. She said it was all the little things that just started working out and popping up all over. The little things just added up to the point where she knew it was true and couldn't deny it! :)

This last week I had a wonderful life changing revelation. It finally hit me, really deep how much God loves me! I am his daughter and he loves me unconditionally! With him, I can do anything and everything! I am invincible and unstoppable! Who cares what is going on around us or what trials we are going through? We are children of God! We are on the winning team and we already know the outcome!! God has control of everything and it will all work together for our good!! :)

I love him with all my heart and cease to be amazed at how much he truly and personally knows and loves me! This is His work and His glory and he will be with us every step of the way if we choose to let him guide us and let him in!! :)

I love you all and will talk to you soon!! :)

Love always, Sister Britni Johnson

Hello everyone!!
This week has been absolutely fabulous!! Things get so good that I don't think it can get any better and then it does!! It is truly amazing!
Quote of the Week
"Come what may and love it!"

Whatever happens, we can get through anything with love in our heart, a smile on our face, and the Savior by our side!! :)

Miracle for this Week
My miracle for this week is just how much I am growing everyday. Things I have been working on and struggling with my whole mission are just working out and disappearing. Things just keep clicking and falling into place everywhere I turn and I am truly amazed and grateful!! :)

Life is so good and I am basking in it! The only thing that would make it better is spring and warm weather and I am praying my little heart out for that, one of these days it will happen! :) I love you all and pray for you everyday!! Things are better than ever here and I am incredibly happy!

Updates
Cheyenne is getting baptized this Saturday and we are all so excited for her!! She finally went to young women yesterday and she loved it! All the girls were so nice to her and a lot of the young women are going to be involved with her baptism!!
Brandi is doing amazing! She knows it's true, she just doesn't want to rush into anything. But she has come so far even just since I have been here and she is absolutely glowing with the Spirit every time we see her! She spends almost all her time watching general conference, watching Mormon channel, reading the scriptures or having lessons with us! She is so amazing and I love her so much! She is incredibly strong and I am so excited for her to get baptized. We have a lesson with her tonight and are going to set the date of March 29th with her! We know she is ready, let's pray she knows it too and takes that leap of faith and trust in our Heavenly Father!!
Lastly, Heather is super excited for her baptism! Basically the only reason she is getting married (on March 29th) is so she can be baptized because she knows it's true!! She is super excited and is working really hard on quitting smoking! So far she is on track and ready to go. She is such an example to me of how truly amazing this gospel is and how much it can truly change a person's heart and their desires in this life! She is so happy and loves church and everything about the gospel! :)

Things have been so crazy busy and so amazing! I love this work and I love putting all of my heart and soul into this work! There truly is no greater cause and no better place to be than in the service of the Lord and showing our love and devotion to him and our Heavenly Father!!

Stay strong and always keep the faith! Love you all and talk to you soon!! :)

Love always, Sister Britni Johnson :)

Hello everyone!!
This week was so good!!! We were crazy busy, got like no sleep and barely made it through but busy is super good and we have been teaching a lot which is the best!!

Miracle for the Week
My miracle for this week happened yesterday! We had a snow storm that was supposed to be bad enough that they cancelled church and it wasn't even that bad but anyways. We went out to shovel some driveways and we couldn't decide who to do. We had planned to shovel a member's house but they wouldn't let us. So we were driving past another member's house and I felt like we needed to go shovel theirs and their neighbor's driveways. We do theirs first and then start on their neighbor's. This really cute woman came out and asked us if we had the wrong house and who we were. We told her we were just doing service for strangers and we were missionaries. She thanked us and then went to get us some hot chocolate to bring out to us. She also brought us some cake.

Her name is Michelle and she told us that her husband was in the house talking to their daughter about how she needs to do service and help people just like we were. We do plan to go back and take some cookies, but no matter what happens, it was a very spiritual experience for me. I had been praying and seeking the Spirit to know where to go and what to do when I really felt like we needed to go there. We ended up meeting Michelle and it was cool becasue it was so simple but it was definitely an answer to my prayers and I was able to be led by the Spirit.

We have been seeing miracles and blessings right and left and things are so good. Quick update on Cheyenne: She is so excited and ready for her baptism next Saturday and we are too. I love her so much and I am grateful we get to teach her. It is a little tricky because she has some learning disabilities so we have to review a lot and be very simple and basic but Heavenly Father has certainly helped us with that so much and she is able to grasp and understand the most important concepts. She also prayed at the end of our lesson and she did need a little help but it was so wonderfully simple and sincere. It touched my heart and the Spirit was so strong!
We also have another woman we are working with, Heather. She is getting married on March 29th and getting baptized on April 12th. We are super excited because she is so ready and always talking about how reading the Book of Mormon helps her feel peace and comfort. She is working on quitting smoking but she is strong and determined which is so awesome! Great things are happening and I am very excited!
We have another very busy week ahead of us which I love. But they are also bittersweet because the weeks and months are completely flying by and I don't know where the time is going!! My mission is going by so fast but I am giving it my all and trying my hardest to enjoy every minute of it!!
I love you all and hope everything is going well! Things are great and I truly appreciate the love and support! Have a great week and talk to you soon!!
Love always, Sister Britni Johnson :)

 fun at chikfila

Cheyenne who is getting baptized next Saturday!! I love her so much!

Feburary 24th, 2014

Hello Everyone!!!

Guess where I am?? I am now in Xenia which is close to Dayton!! I was transferred and it was so hard because I didn't want to leave at all!! But things are great and I am now in a giant ward of like 300+ active members and it feels a lot more like Utah wards. I love it so much here and I have only been here for 4 days!! Things are going to be so good and we have 2 sets of Elders in our ward and between all of us, things are on fire!!! :)

We have a girl named Cheyenne that we are working with and she is getting baptized on March 15th! She is 16 and she has a very high functioning form of Autism and I love her already!! We also have a girl named Brandi who is 26 and has been investigating for a little over a month! She is praying about being baptized on the 15th as well! We have a few other people we are working with and it is so exciting!! :) There are miracles happening everywhere and I know that it was my time to leave Madison Lake. It is really cool because with pretty much everyone I meet here, they all feel so familiar to me and I know I knew them in heaven! It is so cool and more of a testimony to me that I am supposed to be here in this ward at this time and with these people! I am excited to find out my purpose for being here and reach my full potential!!

My new companion is Sister Malloy and I love her with all my heart!! We have known each other our whole missions and have been praying to become companions! :) In the transfer meeting, I was so hoping to be with Sister Malloy that when they announced us as companions, we both ran so fast and collided with each other we were so excited! I was so happy and I just could not stop smiling! I have gotten into this bad habit of interrupting these transfer meetings because I keep getting these companions that I know and am so excited about that I just can't really control myself! :)

I absolutely love my new area and ward!! It is so fun and I am way excited! The members here are absolutely incredible and take such good care of us!! There is so much potential here and I can;t wait to just completely blow up this area!! :) It was a bit of a culture shock at first because the ward has so many people and everyone is basically in the air force because we are right next to a huge air force base!! Our area is very small and there are lots of businesses, and suburban neighborhood. It is like the exact opposite from London but that's what makes it so exciting and I love it! :)

Things are so good and it was even a little warmer for a few days so we were able to go for a few runs and it felt so good!!! Sister Malloy and I are determined to be healthier and I am excited!! We control 2/3 of our meals so we will make sure that they are as healthy as possible!! :)

Well that's it for this week!! I love you all and miss you with all my heart!!

P.S. for mail just send it to the 19 Clairedan Dr., Powell OH 43065. Because that way it will always for sure get to me no matter where I am!! :)

Love always, Sister Britni Johnson :)
